I note that the team met the grandson of Auda Abu Tayi and presented him with gifts The att. photograph of Auda is from the collection of the Library of Congress (USA) and judging by the detail on the cross-belts, it may well have been the original from which Kennington worked when doing his pastel which appears in the edition of the Seven Pillars which I have.
