Very much enjoyed that, good work that man!. I've watched Sharpe many times and never realised there was a real one, anyone who did what he did deserves a spot on the town trail at least, come on Ballymena council!!

Great work, Des, looking forward to future episodes of Blackadder TV!

I think the history presentation was fine.

I also enjoyed the expensive digital enhancement that had gone into making the presenter look younger and thinner than earlier real life photos indicate.

Ta to all apart from 'orrible 'artley.

I'll have the mega-rich one know that one has been doing that middle-aged thingy and walking three miles every night.

I am even finner and incredibly more handsome now as a result.

He lied.

Appetite whetted for a video-doc of Ballymena history - got 2 (count 'em) different stills, and a broken but interesting talk by Mr B - I really must throw out the dial-up and get into the 21st century. Innit.

Sounded good, Des.

Well done Des, very interesting. When so many places are reaching back to their history , of course your right in saying the grave should be on the local history trail. "MO"

Wow ... Great Job ... now, how would you describe your "manner of speech" ... I don't think you have an accent, but then, you're not from Texas.

Great job ... interesting, just long enough ... and beautiful setting ... the poppy cross was a nice touch ... you?

Well done Des!

I think you should get your own show. Parkie's retired.

Ta for all kind comments - I am working up to a Nov 11 piece if all goes well.

For Andy in Texas ... my accent would be kindly described as 'Ulster-Scots' by some; culchie by others and Ballymena (hi) by most in Norn Iron.

Everytime I hear my pronunciation of the word 'status' ... I cringe. But what the hell!

Nice one. Well done. And ignore Mr Hartley...jealousy is such a destabilising emotion.
