eyes Posted 20 October , 2007 Share Posted 20 October , 2007 Pont Remy comes up fairly regularly as one of the points where troops coming in from the UK and elsewhere 'de-trained'. Some of these stayed in the area around the village for training or rest, some moved to the front, others went elsewhere. Many units mention it as a place they moved through at one time or another.
