Hi

Having never been to the NA can someone please explain what im likely to find looking at the SWB rolls ,does it have addresses on them ?

This would help to confirm a possible MIC transcription error

thanks

Looking at my Notts and Derby SWB rolls as an example, I would expect you to be able to glean the following:

Name, Rank, Service Number, Unit (may just be the parent regiment/branch though), Date of Enlistment/Mobilisation, Date of Discharge, Reason for Discharge (may just be the Kings Regs ref though, more usually Wounds or Sickness), SWB number, Age on discharge and Overseas service (Y/N).

Some other titbits like "Wounds - Shell Shock" etc. but not adress details, i'm afraid.

Hope this helps
