Colonel Joseph Scott Moore

Please could anyone help with the army career of this man? I have found his MIC. And he is in the 1881 census: Born in 1879, the son of John Simon Moore a seed merchant of Hockwold in Norfolk and his wife Mary Ann. Not in 1901 census or FreeBMD. Can't find him in the Gazette - but that doesn't mean he isn't there, of course!

Grateful as always for any help.

Best wishes,

David

Not your guy but another, sorry to hijack your thread David. Colonel Joseph Scott Moore D.L., died July 22nd 1950. Late Essex Regiment and R.A.S.C. aged 83. A well known bloodstock breeder and owner. He was born at Manor Kilbride, Wicklow, Ireland and educated at Bray, later entering Sandhurst. He was invalided out suffering from war wounds in 1916. Any additional info appreciated.

Cheers Pals.

Paul.
