rflory Posted 15 October , 2007 Share Posted 15 October , 2007 The only name close to that in Regimental Roll of Honour and War Record of the Artists' Rifles is Captain William Robert Eric Harrison, RAF. He enlisted in the 2nd Bn, Artists' Rifles between 15 Sept 1914 and 30 Oct 1914. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieut., 8 (Service) Bn, E Kent Regt. on 25 Jan 15 and ended the war as a Captain in the RAF. He was wounded in action on 5 March 1917 and was taken prisoner of was on 15 Sep 18 and interned in Holland until 15 Nov 18. Harrison was mentioned in despatches.
