Hello everyone

Not been on it for a very long time hope you are all keeping healthy and happy.

I have been trying to do my tree for ages now not much look.

Got some fabulous help from you guys with my grandfather's war records Eugene Lawrence Beatty but just cannot seem to find anything out about his life after the war.

Absolutely nothing about my father's childhood William Desmond Beatty date of birth the 26th of March, 1921Murtagh Road Dublin.

Any ideas as to how I could find out how my grandparents died and where they are buried.

Any help or advice would be so very much appreciated thank you

take care have a good day

Lynne,

I suggest, if you have not already done so, to join Genes Reunited (small annual fee) and check on that forum. There will be plenty of guidance there on family research.

Hi Lynne,

Try this link for Ireland

Genukik/big/irl/

It is free and has lots of members worldwide and tips as to how you research your ancestors.

For information post World War 1 you can use electoral roles for the address of person over 21 who were eligible to vote.

For Births Marriages Deaths you could use Ancestry Ancestry I think you can get 14 days free trial of this to search the censii and BMD indexes.

I am not sure of the coverage for Ireland but I hope this is of some use

Best Wishes
