ian turner Posted 9 October , 2007 Share Posted 9 October , 2007 Thanks Len, some nice pics. Is that a self-loading Lee Enfield conversion? Ian

Ian Hi Ian, Sorry that I seem to have lost my labelling. Yes, how about that! I had never heard of one until I saw this in the South African museum at Delville wood. I had never heard of one until I saw this in the South African museum at Delville wood. Len Len, Thanks. I know I had seen one before - maybe the very same item as I have visited that fine museum a few years ago. Was it not in a WW2 section about the South Africans, or am I dreaming? I believe it was an unofficial conversion rather than a makers' fabrication. Anyway, nice to know some part of the memory function still works!
