pjlee Posted 8 October , 2007 Share Posted 8 October , 2007 I am researching the Officers and Soldiers named on my local war memorial and would be most grateful if anyone has further information on a Private George Harold Timms Poole, SE/28049, The Royal Army VeterinaryCorp, Private Poole was killed on 27th June 1919 and his body never recovered, he is named on the Jerusalem Memorial to the Missing (panel 57), Israel. I have been told that he was taken by a crocodile whilst watering horses and wondered if anyone out there could confirm this or even supply additional information.
