I have had this commemoration plaque for a while, there is information on the IWM site about it but I was told that there was a set of them, does anyone have any others or can tell me how the other plaques were different.

Mick,

This is exactly the same as the one I have and many others I've seen over the years. If there are others in a series, then they weren't to do with Zeebrugge, which is my area of interest.

Thanks Dom

I couldn't imagine how they would be different, apart from maybe material.

Hi Mick

Page 385 of the Collector and Researchres Guide to the Great war vol 2 by Howard Williamson.

" ZEEBRUGGE 1927 COMMEMORATIVE MEDALS.these attractive medals were struck for a commemorative

pilgrimage and celebration of the raid held at Zeebrugge on 27th April 1927. Most commonly found in

Bronze, examples were also struck in Silver and Gilt. Bronze Plaques fetch £35-£40 ,a complete set around

£200+. ( although they are called Medals it is infact the plaque you have .) I also have only seen them

in Bromze.

Best Wishes

Thank you very much Colin. I think I will give the search for the other types a miss then.
