Audax Posted 18 September , 2007 Share Posted 18 September , 2007 I understand that the Zion Mule Corps was formed in 1914-15. This website Zion Mule Corps indicates that they wore a badge of the Star of David. Does an illustration this badge appear in any reference works on WWI? Has anyone come across any photographs of Mule Corps members in uniform? A

michaeldr Posted 19 September , 2007 Share Posted 19 September , 2007 A, The author of the article which you cite is registered as a member of this forum and it may be worth contacting him on this point I too have read that the Star of David was incorporated into the ZMC insignia, but I do not recall ever having seen an example [including during my visits to the museum at Avihayil] There are at least two photographs of Capt Joseph Trumpeldor in uniform including his cap; one taken in Egypt and one from the peninsula, and in neither does his cap appear to have a badge If an example turns up then I would be very interested in seeing it regards Michael
