Guest stan king Posted 16 January , 2003 Share Posted 16 January , 2003 My father served with the 2nd Battilion 17th London Regt (Poplar and stepney Rifles) as Rifleman C.R.T.King. later promotted Corp. He once said that he had been mentioned in a book regarding a court martial to which he was a witness during his service in the Near East with respect to an incident of an eternal flame of some kind.
