Guest jwillia5 Posted 8 January , 2004 Posted 8 January , 2004 I wonder if anyone would anyone be able to copy me details from the Soldiers Died in the Great War publication. The soldier I am interested in was with the 16th btn of the Kings Royal Rifle Corps. He was Rifleman Walter George Singer. He was killed on 23rd October, 1918, just outside Le Cateau. He lived in Pontypridd, South Wales. Just wondered if the index might offer any additional details to the ones I have. Many thanks, Jane

Guest dmcintyr Posted 26 December , 2008 Posted 26 December , 2008 Hi Jane I have been given a Christmas gift of a batch of Rifleman Singers' letters home to his brother, Charlie, from the trenches and Italy (?). I wondered if you would be prepared to share any information you have found out about him? Can I ask if you were researching him as he was a relative? I know it was a few years ago now since you posted a question about him on this forum! Cheers Denize.
