Gary Samson Posted 7 February , 2004 Share Posted 7 February , 2004 Many thanks for your lightning fast reply, Dick. I had my fingers firmly crossed for one of those fabulous photos you regularly unearth from your collection but 'twould appear I'll have to look elsewhere, a local paper perhaps. rflory Posted 8 February , 2004 Author Share Posted 8 February , 2004 Gary: Unfortunately I have little control over whether or not a photo is available. Marlborough College does not have a Memorial Volume with photos and the "Marlburian" (the school magazine) has minimal information on casualties. I know how you feel, Lt Col. Paine who is mentioned in my signature block and whose medals are illustrated in my avatar, also was educated at Marlborough College and I still haven't managed to find a photo of him. Regards.
