Hello Dick.....you wouldn't happen to have access to an image of Edward Graeme Ozanne who I believe was educated at Rugby School. He was KIA on 16Feb15 with 3rd Bn Royal Fusiliers.

There is a picture of Captain Edward Graeme Ozanne in "Rugbeians who Fell in the War", Vol.I.  The picture there can be found also by typing his name into Google and selecting "Images". It has been used on a website called "Our Heroes", which details casualties from County Down-Ozanne had connections through his mother.

Thanks for the reply.....found that image. I've got an un-named 3rd RF officer group photo taken at Lucknow in 1914 and trying to confirm whether the chap seated first row far right is EG Ozanne.....there's certainly a likeness, but it's difficult when comparing different images that are often not great quality. Many thanks.

Q for bigronhartley

you were asking about Jeremiah Watson some time ago, possibly with the Royal Garrison Artillery.  Postman in Sunderland before and after the war.  He was my grandfather, I wondered whether you are related?  regards  Ken

Dear Dick,

John Edward Montague was born on 24 Mar 1873 and educated at Clifton College, Bristol.

I am in the running for his RE 15 Trio (MiD) and three Foreigners...

Could I possibly have his Clifton register, please?

Kindest regards,

Kim.

Kim:  I don't think that is your man as the one at Clifton is John Eric Montagu who served with the RFA during the Great War.  Please advice.

I might just have a photo of his name on the Pembroke College Memorial, though the man I was interested in matriculated a few years earlier.  I'll try to have a look later.
