Edgie Posted 13 July , 2007 Share Posted 13 July , 2007 I am looking for any information about the 11th Field Ambulance, RAMC. I know they where attached to the 4th Division and was close to the East Lancashire Regiment and the Seaforth Highlanders, but then the trail goes cold so any help would be appreciated. sotonmate Posted 13 July , 2007 Share Posted 13 July , 2007 Edgie They were with 4th Division for the whole war. Look at this for movements/actions: http://www.1914-1918.net/4div.htm There is also a War Diary for 11 FA at the National Archives under piece number WO95/1475,also covering the whole war. This will give a daily picture of where they were and what they were doing, including any casualties they may have incurred. You can download all or parts of this Diary on payment of a fee from the NA Catalogue Digital Express system. Best wishes Sotonmate
