kevin dunion Posted 11 July , 2007 Share Posted 11 July , 2007 Has anybody researched Glasgow University students who served? I am trying to find any photograph of 2nd Lieut.Philip Oliphant Ray who was an observer in a plane shot down in Bloody April 1917 having previously served in the Black Watch. He is mentioned in the excellent on-line Glasgow University Roll of Honour but there is no accompanying photograph. I wondered if there was a yearbook or photograph of students in 1913/1914 which might contain his image.
