horatio2 Posted 7 July , 2007 Share Posted 7 July , 2007 Nelson WD for Gallipoli does not exist but there is a WD for 1st (Naval) Bde which, with that for Anson for the whole of 1918, is at Kew. No such thing as a 'nominal roll' because men came and went every day. The closest thing for October 1914 is the list of those who qualified for the 1914 Star in each RND battalion for their service at Antwerp/Dunkirk. See "The 1914 Star to the Royal Navy & Marines" by WH Fevyer & JW Wilson. Nelson sailed from Avonmouth in HMT FRANCONIA on 1 March 1915. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
