Ice Tiger Posted 9 July , 2007 Share Posted 9 July , 2007 On seeing the man in the t shirt standing slightly to my right my initial thought was how in-appropriate, he should have been wearing dark trousers & jacket like I was. More suitable for the local rugby club tour than a funeral I thought (no offence to rugby clubs meant). However the more I saw it during the course of the funeral the more my mind changed. This was his individual way of showing his respect and surely one of the reasons Richard & his pals died was to ensure us that fredom of expression. Also well done to him for managing to lay his wreath as part of the ceremony & not as if an after thought when all the big wigs had left. As has been said above it's funny how your pre-conceived convictions change in just a few moments.
