Will the trenches at Croonaerthoek be visitable or is it still all wired off, trespassers will be shouted at etc etc? Grateful for an update. Terry Carter Posted 31 December , 2003 Share Posted 31 December , 2003 I was there briefly on the afternoon of 13 December, 2003, after the Bruce Bairnsfather ceremony at St Yvon. The coach pulled up and those who wanted to got off to look at the work that was taking place to restore the trench system.
