Rosamund died of influenza 14th Nov 1918 & is listed in the original cemetery register for this site - However she is not on the present CWGC database - wondering what the reason is

She is not a Commonwealth War Grave and hence she will not appear on the CWGC list.

She is actually classified as a Non-World War Grave in CWGC Care and is recorded as such in their database. VAD members only qualify for war grave status if they died on duty and of a war cause as with other members of the Recognised Civilian Organisations (eg Mercantile Marine, Red Cross etc).

Many of the original registers did not make this distinction clear and a few such names were erroneously included.

I knew that there would be a perfectly good reason - thanks very much
