Found this thread and am posting this photo from Blackwell Colliery Company's memorial booklet "Lest We Forget". Ernest was 14 in 1911 and son of the Colliery Manager, so 17 or 18 when he enlisted. His elder brother Leonard was a Lieutenant with the 256th Tunnelling Corps Royal Engineers when he was killed in October 1917.

It is Jonty Wild from the Herts at War Project here.  Did you ever come across a list of names of the war dead for the Inns of Court O.T.C.?  Big job, but we need to include them under our project.
