Remembered Today:

55 coy RGA

Recommended Posts

My grandfather served with 55 coy RGA from about 1908/10 through to the end of the war and i would very much like to know the companies activities for that period. i believe they spent the war at Gibralter and though he did serve their by 1916 had been sent to Tynemouth castle. Can anyone help. Also any ideas where he would have been trained in what would then have been the regular pre war army ?
