These include the new section of motorway from Amiens to Lille then on to Belgium. I don't know if this will cut through the Somme battlefields. The first map I found is on page 5 of an EU document at http://europa.eu.int/comm/ten/transport/re...9_08_crci_1.pdf (it would be good to have that on this thread - go on, somebody) The Route seems to be behind Arras but then south of Bethune, across to Lille, so through the middle of the 1915 Western Front. At present it seems to be at earliest stages, but there will obviously be lots of fierce debate to come! Come on chaps, get stuck in. Perhaps Aurel or Laurent have some more precise local news?
