Dear All,

I have messed up already!! I am a new member and have posted in the wrong place-sorry. I am looking for any additional information on my Granddad William Fred West who was killed on the 27th April 1918. He is buried in Gwalia Cemetary. He was a Royal Engineer in th 20th Army Troops Company. HIs service nuber is 15627.

We couldn't find any information on the Army troops company or any information about how he was killed. He isn't on any war memorials, so we have been campaigning to get him put on his home town one.

Anyway I am rambling on. If anyone can help it would be great. He enlisted in 1906 originally, but came out,we believe, and was a blacksmith, then he went back in for the war. He had the Victory and British medals, but not the others.

Thanks again

Kidn Regards
