david8559 Posted 16 April , 2007 Posted 16 April , 2007 Evening my learned forum colleagues! just a quick one - Gnr George Smith was demobbed (z reserve) in 1919 his company shown is C Company, 17th (A.C) Batt, Tank Corps. It appears on the stamp of his demob sheet that it was at Marlboro' baracks (can only really make Marl out) in Dublin. Does anyone know anything of this company or Battalion ? Anyone know what A.C stands for ? Thanks for this your help and guidance much appreciated. Dave

david8559 Posted 17 April , 2007 Author Posted 17 April , 2007 Once again Chaps a BIG Thank you. I am truly hooked on this Forum. Found out so much about Gnr Smith and even a forum member contacted me to inform me of the location of his medals. Thank you all - more questions to follow (without doubt) and one day I might even be able to answer a question from a topic. Regards Dave
