sotonmate Posted 12 April , 2007 Posted 12 April , 2007 Amanda I found his Medal Index Card in WO372/14 at the NA website. If you don't have it yet it is under Image Reference 14597/2385,which is downloadable for a fee. From that you can get the number of the WO329 Medal Ledgers which have to be looked up at the NA. The page containing your subject's entry may show which Battalions he served in. His Warwicks number was 305721 if you don't have it. His papers may also be on microfilm at the NA under WO363/M1963,but,as you may know this is a bit of a lottery as so many records were destroyed by German bombing in 1940. There may also be experts here who can tell you which Bn from the number. Best wishes Sotonmate
