As a DoW, he's almost certain to have had a "proper" burial at the time. Of course, the grave location must have been lost (otherwise he'd have a CWGC entry).

If I had to guess....then one of the unknowns at Redoubt Cemetery (which is where most of the small number of Mancs "knowns" and "believed to be buried" from then are.)

The four missing Manchester 'G' men cases are now underway with CWGC/MoD.

There should be no obstacle at all to their acceptance.
