Rory Reynolds Posted 16 March , 2007 Share Posted 16 March , 2007 Hi all My sisters mother- in -laws father, one Joseph Harris White was wounded during the war. According to his service record he was reported wounded on 22 July 1916 but his Casualty form shows him to have been admitted to 6 G.H. with GSW head and arm at Rouen in the field on 14 July 1916. I undestand the delay in reporting officially on the wound but could someone tell me whether this date co-incides with a major battle or skirmish. He was also born at Eastbourne in England +/- 1896 but I can find no reference to him in the Census returns of 1901. Any help appreciated Rory
