beersheba Posted 16 March , 2007 Share Posted 16 March , 2007 with the trip to Beersheba shapeing up nicely at the moment can anyone tell me what the Australian Light horse bugle cords where like please ..colour in particular please.. If you also know if they used the same british calls as well that would be great..I'm assuming they did as per british mounted infantry..but would be nice to be sure.. Somewhere I have a book of the calls, for Australia, I will keep trying to find it. As for the colour of the cords, I have seen a couple of attributed WW1 Light Horse bugles/trumpets with cords attached and these were dark green. I am also aware that the early regimental colour for the Light Horse was white, but I do not know if this extended to the instrument cords.
