I hear that the hospital at Aylesham, which is a Memorial Hospital, is under threat of closure. Fred W Posted 14 March , 2007 Share Posted 14 March , 2007 In 1986 Reedyford Memorial Hospital in Nelson was demolished to make way for the M65 motorway.So don't keep yout fingers crossed. Although, today there seems to be a much stronger, and to my mind healthier, regard for war memorials than there was in the 1980's, so may be the hospital will be saved. I hope so.
