Coldstreamer - Many thanks for this and the other replies - CWGC details don't show an obvious link with Waltham! I will pass on any info. I find in archived local newspapers.

This is the memorials dedication:

Hello familypast(Gordon),

Welcome to the Forum

I nearly missed the resurrection of this almost year old topic having only paid fleeting visits to the GWF in recent weeks, (busy collating information for a database).

I do not have any family connections or photos and just about all the info. I have is in this topic. The original post was to find William Charles Horner Glister's link with Waltham WM. Which was achieved thanks to the members. I haven't checked the newspaper archives yet but I can offer photos of the Waltham War Memorial and perhaps one of the Panel of the Loos Memorial when I visit the area in April, if you would like?

Mel and Coldstreamer thanks for the additional info.

Coldstreamer do you have a photo of Captain Alan George Tritton, Coldstream Guards? If not there is one of him in a book I have, (Echoes of the Great War) that I could scan.

Cheers Terry
