Hi Neil - I don't know whether you still are a member here but I was interested in your database.   I have posted a very faded photo on this site of a soldier who died of wounds in 1918.   The only definite clue is that he was wearing a MM ribbon.   The shoulder title is very faded indeed and it has been suggested that the last letter was an S or a B.   If the latter then KOSB is a possibility but if an S, Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment was recently been suggested.   From your database is it possible to find out how many soldiers in this regiment who died in 1918 had the MM?   There is a vague possibility his surname was Cameron but I'm feeling much less sure of this now as he was supposed to be English and the only KOSB who fits these criteria was definitely Scottish.   Rather than repost the photo (which I am happy to do) it can be found on my earlier post this week 'shoulder title'.   Many thanks.
