Missing MIC

SHARDIE

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

I recently bought a 1914-15 star with various research documentation but it didn't include the MIC. I've tried every combination of name, rank, regiment, etc but can't find the card.

Details on the medal are CH. 14340 PTE A. G. WARNER. R.M.L.I.

I would be greatful for any suggestions on how to recover the MIC.

Thanks

Steve

Im guessing here but wondered if he only served with the navy ie on a ship would he as a navl man not have a MIC as the navy arn't included. I know that RMLI have Mics but presume these were for "army" service. gareth

Thanks for the info, shows my inexperience, I didn't realise the Navy don't have MIC. All the research relates to his service on ships, mystery solved.

Thanks for your help.

Regards

Steve
