If anyone has details of the death of this officer, or a brief transcript of the 1st Bn., Coldstream Guards, War Diary for Sept. 14th, 1914, I would be very grateful.

Serving at start of ww1, reported missing and then KIA 14/9/14

Many thanks for looking him up. I know he went to Eton, & was the son of an M.P. It seems from The Times' report he was treated well by the Germans as he was dying. Must have been a lonely death, though. R.I.P.
