Thanks both.

I hadn't seen his MIC Glyn (although I did check that one existed). He would appear to have been a reservist as he didn't go to France with the first contingent of the 1/KO.

Terry - in the light of the surname discrepancy is there scope for getting this recorded in his CWGC database entry - he obviously served under a form of alias?
