On 11th April 1916 the SS Angus, built 1904, 3,619 grt, was captured in 39.57N, 01.08E by German submarine U 34 then shelled and sunk 76 miles ExN from Valencia, Spain, Mediterranean Sea on voyage Calcutta to Barcelona & Bilbao carrying cotton & jute. Owned by Bruce, John P. of Dundee. No lives were lost.

Thanks for the info. As far as I know "Angus" made a stop 20.3. in Port Said and 10.4. in Barcelona. Was there other stops on this voyage?
