dhampson Posted 13 January , 2007 Share Posted 13 January , 2007 Hi What a great Website. My Great Grandfather James Blease was in the Loyal North Lancs 6th Service Battalion (1914-1916). Could you please give me an account of the Loyal north Lancs 6th Battalion landing at Anzac Cove 3-5 August 1915, also any other info of the 6th Loyal North in the following battles Sari Bair, Russels Top & Battle of Hill 60 all which took place in August 1915. In a newspaper clipping which i have in January 1916 he was at home under treatment for frost bite, which i assume was from Gallipolli. Thanks David.
