ypresman Posted 12 December , 2006 Share Posted 12 December , 2006 Hi I see the 107 (Ulster) Brigade, who's forefathers were the senior component of the 36th (Ulster) Div, are to be disbanded next year. Is this the end of the 'bloodline' of the 36th (Ulster) Div? Many thanks Marc.
Desmond7 Posted 12 December , 2006 Share Posted 12 December , 2006 107 Brigade had/has Shamrock and Red Hand as badge. However, 1st Royal Irish Regt. holds all battle honours for Ulster Div. and commemorates 1st July as a very special day. The Skins, Faughs and Rifles combined on June 30 1968 .. I was there. Now that WAS a parade.
