Mates,

I am looking for any bio details on this officer.

Joseph Frederick Laycock

He appears to have served as a Lt RHA in the Boer War and a Colonel and CRA Anzac Mounted Div in Palestine and I believe won a DSO and was later knighted and made a BrigGen.

Thanks for any info you can point me to.

A Joseph Frederick Laycock competed in the Class A (Open) Motor Boating competition at the London Olympics of 1908 but did not win a medal.

This was the family home.
