wulsten Posted 20 November , 2006 Share Posted 20 November , 2006 Does any member have any information on possible locations for German Feild hospitals / clearing stations or even pow holding areas in vicinity of Gouvy southern Belgium, other forum member suggested contacting Gouvy internet site which have done and awaiting response, but any forum members knowledge would be appreciated
healdav Posted 23 November , 2006 Share Posted 23 November , 2006 No idea, but I can ask at any tourist office when I'm next there. One interesting thing though is that the first two operational V2s were fired from near Gouvy. One disappeared completely and the other crashed on its way to Paris. roel22 Posted 23 November , 2006 Share Posted 23 November , 2006 Try the Krankenbuchlager Berlin. http://www.berlin.de/SenGesSozV/lageso/kbl.html It holds the German fieldhospital-records for WW1. regards Roel
