Guest David East Posted 16 November , 2006 Share Posted 16 November , 2006 Hello everyone. This is my first post here so please excuse me if I am asking any dumb questions. I have recently started tracing my family history and have come across four brothers who appear to have served in the Army during WWI. Joseph James East William Henry East Ernest East Albert Edward East All were born in the Wandsworth/Lambeth area between 1874 and 1896. I cannot find any entries i can confirm on the the CWGC website so am assuming to a certain extent that they all survived the war. I have found a couple of matches on the National Archives Medal honours list but am unable to confirm if these are indeed the relatives I am searching for. All the links in site like Genes Reunited, Ancestry, National Archives etc seem to offer plenty of advice on where to search physically but I cannot find any on-line archives to search. Any help would be gratefully received. Many thanks
Bob Coulson Posted 16 November , 2006 Share Posted 16 November , 2006 Looks like they all did survive, none showing on Soldiers Died. Bob.
