I have just finished transcribing his letters home for my site and the memorials would round it off quite nicely. Can get you a pic - might be next week sometime though. For tyne cot see pieter jans thread in photo requests. Will check through my newspaper pics as it covered the Hadhams. Ta very muchly Glyn old bean Oh, he died 9-10-1917 at 3rd Ypres. His death was known about that day so i imagine it would have been in the papers by the end October time (if it helps). shaymen Posted 24 November , 2006 Share Posted 24 November , 2006 Steve Got over too Much Hadham earlier and NO luck - sorry mate but he's not on there. At the moment the Memorial at Much Hadham is under repair and they have a temporary plate on the wall with all the names on it. A quick google tells me that new memorial should be there soon.
