wulsten Posted 14 November , 2006 Share Posted 14 November , 2006 Friend trying to research this individual, Charles Allen Inglis, Stebie stopped me from self harm on the gazette site listing the relevant page for commission, however cannot find him listed under C A Inglis for any officers service records at the NA, do they all survive? is he listed anywhere else? could he have transferred to the army of india? or any other leads on the gazette. Any any help appreciated
SteveE Posted 14 November , 2006 Share Posted 14 November , 2006 As with MIC's I don't believe the middle initial is always shown on officer's files. There are five C. Inglis' in the WO339 series, he could be one of them Hope this helps Steve
wulsten Posted 14 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 14 November , 2006 Cheers Steve have got the list but was unsure as to the listing without the second name initial "A" so he could be any of the records listed, have never actually checked an officers record, does anyone know if they are on microfiche
