Guest soloman Posted 14 November , 2006 Share Posted 14 November , 2006 Would anyone have an idea of when the last 1914-18 veterans saw action in the british army? I have evidence of one member former member of the KRRC active in France from early 1915, fighting as a warrant officer in the 3rd Royal Australian Regiment in Korea. Is this man an oddity or are there examples of other veterans going the such a distance? The man in question also served in the 2/12th battalion A.I.F during the second world war in Tobruk, Milne Bay, Buna, Sanananda and Borneo.
