Remembering my own Heros

Remembering today my Family the Lockwoods & Knights

My 8 Uncles who joined up and fought and who all returned to Bourne in Lincolnshire after the

2nd World war, all came home with wounds and have all now passed on

Gunner Charlie Knight my Grandad who returned from India with the Hampshire Regiment

and then served with the Royal Artillery on Home Defence during WW2. he died in the 80s

I share your sentiments, and would like to remember L/PTI Gary [sandy] Nelson of HMS Ardent, and Steward Mark Stevens of HMS Antelelope, who were both killed in May 1982. I'll be thinking of both, and the others who died, at 11.00 a.m.
