Martin Bennitt Posted 10 November , 2006 Share Posted 10 November , 2006 Just drawing Pals' attention to article on Wilfred Owen in the Independent's bbok review section today, flagging a 'Wilfred Owen week' on BBC Radio 3 from saturday. Unfortunately we can't get the Third Programme on this side of the Channel. cheers Martin B

Martin Bennitt Posted 10 November , 2006 Author Share Posted 10 November , 2006 Thanks Tom, didn't think. I'm still a bit backward in that respect (why is is still not the Third Programme?). Will look out for it. cheers Martin B
Jim Clay Posted 10 November , 2006 Share Posted 10 November , 2006 ...why is it still not the Third Programme...? Ah well, Martin, you'd need to go back to the days of the radio pirates in the 60s to find the answer. The pirates were shut down and the beeb revamped its radio stations to cope with the changes /get hip (The Light programme was split to give us R1 and R2; The Third Programme became R3; and The Home Service became R4 - but what I want to know is what happened to 2LO? ) Jim
