At Langmark there is a modern cast bronze plaque in memory of two UK soldiers on one of the upright pillars, what is the story here?

John Welsh

John,

There is an old thread (2003) about this :

http://1914-1918.invisionzone.com/forums/i...&hl=carhill

And there must be a more recent one, but I can't find it right now. (I am sure there is one, because I posted a photo in it.) I'll go back and have another search. (I think the name is CARLILL, not CARHILL.)

before we left three buses loads turned,

We should have all wore pink like some members have to ID each other.

Annette

I think Annette, I was in the lead coach because I remember two or three others arriving as we were getting off our coach. Did you mean pink poppies or pink clothes...don't think the latter would suite me...

regards John
