Terry Denham Posted 7 November , 2006 Share Posted 7 November , 2006 One side pays the other side a lump of cash for an agreed amount of media exposure - usually name/logo appearing in certain places at certain times around programmes. It is common on UK TV nowadays. The benefit for the advertiser is having their name put in from of history minded viewers who are likley to be potential customers for someone running history tours. The additional 'benefit' is having your name associated with a respected media vehicle - ie The History Channel.
