182 CEF Posted 5 November , 2006 Share Posted 5 November , 2006 Yes they took some good photos, and I was rather surprised that it got printed...they will be on display at the Town of Whitby's ( Ontario) annual Nov 11th dsplay. Also some bits of a Canadian Halifax that crashed on Dec 20 1942, for those bits I have photos of all the Crewmens Graves as well as 2 photos of a couple of the Men. I have sent Canadian Poppies to the man that sent the bits..he will be placing 7 Crosses at the Crash site and will put the Poppies on them. 2 of the Crewmembers were RAF and 5 RCAF Thanks for mentioning the artical..I think there is going to be a follow up next month.
